North Downs Way Pilgrims Festival

Pilgrimage and the Journey Within
Readings and a Q&A with Guy Stagg, Katherine May & Victoria Field

3pm-5pm, Wednesday 26th September 2018
St Gregory and St Martin Church, 38 Church Street, Wye TN25 5BL

A pilgrimage is more than just a walk in a landscape. When we walk, especially when that walk is imbued with meaning, we can experience profound and lasting change.

Victoria Field’s Baggage explores the ending of her marriage through the lens of a pilgrimage to Santiago. ‘She weaves these two accounts into a living tapestry of her life: here is the numinous, the sexual, the spiritual, the poetic, the humorous, the sorrowful.’
